CM Labs MotorMate and MotorMix support is currently available in
all Pro Tools
LE, TDM, HD and Accel systems. Support is also available for
Mbox, Digi 001, 002,
and 002 Rack.
MotorMix must be in in
ProTools mode. If it is not in PT mode, press Play and
Escape on MotorMix to turn it on. MotorMix will display
"Open a ProTools session to begin" on the bottom
row of the LCD display after it is powered up and the faders
have moved to the bottom.
Both
MotorMate and
MotorMix use the MotorMix personality.
For Pro Tools 6.4 ,
it is located on the installer CD at Additional
Files/Unsupported Software/Controllers.
Just
drag it to the Controllers folder, which on OS X is:
Applications/Digidesign/Pro Tools/Controllers.
For
Windows
XP it's at: Program Files\CommonFiles\Digidesign\DAE\Controllers

RadiaL v1.1 application, and in prior versions of
RadiaL.

Cycling 74, MotorMix must be run in Standard Mode. If

Escape on MotorMix to turn it to Standard Mode. MotorMix will display
"MotorMix is ready for a session." on the top
row of the LCD display after it is powered up and the faders
have moved to the bottom.
Cycling '74's Max product
includes complete support for MotorMix through the "motormix"
object (PC and Macintosh). This object includes
support for up to 99 channels and 99 levels of rotary
control - allowing the Max programmer to provide complete
two-way control for MotorMix with an easy-to-use message
system. The "motormix" object can be

and will be included in an upcoming version.

CM Labs MotorMix support is currently available in the new
Touch 015 family of products, and in prior versions of Touch
applications. Touch Tools are Derivative's software products
for designing and performing live visuals. The MotorMix motorized
faders and lights can be initialized and driven by Touch software.
Recall presets and sequences in TouchMixer, and MotorMix faders
will move with them.

CM Labs MotorMix support is currently available in the Midimixer
1.0 application.
MidiMixer is lets you program
your MotorMix to control any software or hardware that
supports the MIDI or OSC protocols, including Abelton Live
and Reason. MidiMixer
gives you complete flexibility over how your use your
MotorMix. It lets you arrange your controls into virtual
channels and virtual pages and using controls to modify or
shift other controls. This lets you create a virtual mixer
of hundreds or thousands of virtual controls, arranged
exactly the way you want.
For
MidiMixer, MotorMix must be run in Standard Mode. If
MotorMix is in ProTools mode, press Play and
Escape on MotorMix to turn it to Standard Mode. MotorMix will display

versions V675 (model 1616HD) or T241 (model AB1616) or higher.
The AudioBox supports up to 4 MotorMix's and controls inputs,
outputs, submasters, crosspoints, playback, show control functions
and many others.

AudioBox, MotorMix must have the MotorMan ROM (contact us to

Support

CM Labs MotorMix support is currently available in the Kyma
5 thru 5.12 applications.
Kyma gives you
so many real time parameters to tweak that just keeping
track of the MIDI faders can pose a problem. With the
MotorMix, Kyma relabels your faders for you instantaneously
and lets you switch between unlimited banks of physical
faders. It lets you stay engrossed in the sound instead of
trying to remember whether continuous controller 13 was
controlling frequency or the compression ratio on the third
audio input channel.
Kyma is very closely integrated with Motor Mix.
Every sound synthesis, sampling or processing algorithm in
Kyma has parameters that you can adjust in real time. Those
parameters appear in a virtual control surface on the
computer screen (where you can adjust them using a mouse)
and are also mirrored on Motor Mix where you can
adjust them by hand.
Presets (or initial settings
for the parameters saved in the software) cause the
motorized faders on the Motor Mix to jump to their initial
positions. Parameter labels that appear above the widgets on
the virtual control surface are also displayed on the LCD
label strip above the real faders on the Motor Mix. Whenever
you move a Motor Mix fader, the virtual fader also updates
on the computer screen (and vice versa). When you change a
virtual fader to a virtual rotary pot on the computer
screen, the parameter is automatically remapped to one of
the continuous rotary pots on the Motor Mix.
For
Kyma, MotorMix must be run in Standard Mode. If MotorMix is in

Escape on MotorMix to turn it to Standard Mode. MotorMix will display
